General objectives
To ensure the understanding of the software and to train users Chief Estimators/Administrators in order to make them able to use, administer, modify and maintain the software and the database (Knowledge) of the ESTIMATION software. To enable them to have the necessary knowledge to train users (Estimator).
Specific objectives
By the end of this course students will be able to:
Create the right type of item according to your estimation needs
Choose the right management unit
Choose the right unit for the three possible units for the material type item
Create the right bid structure for your estimating needs
Create a bid template with default values and reports
Create assemblies
Make formulas in the assemblies to calculate the quantities
Configure the necessary options for the assemblies (add and equivalent options)
Configure dimension blocks if necessary
