These lines are used to receive the different measurements of a specific TakeOff.
There are generally two types of Dimension lines used
1-Dim1
-
The name of the line will correspond to the name of the assembly in which it will be inserted
-
This line will group under it all the DimLs relevant to the need of the variables of the assembly where it will be inserted
-
It will contain the cumulative (sum) of the variables and/or calculation results to be distributed
-
It can also contain the Net result formulas (Gross wall area - gross opening area = Net area)
-
The variables required for Ass2 and + will be transmitted to Ass1 for distribution
-
In the "Name" column of the catalogue, the description will always begin with Dim1 - (Name of Ass1)
-
In the "Classification Code" column, it will be identified by the most relevant specification section followed by D1 Ex: 03D1.
2-DimL
-
The name of the line will correspond to a specific portion of the composition of the Ass1 of which it is part
-
This line will contain all the variables specific to its name
-
It may also contain some formulas whose results will be cumulated in Dim1 (It will contain all the formulas required for the distribution to Ass2 and +)
-
In the "Name" column of the catalogue, the description will always begin with DimL - (Name of the composition portion)
-
In the column "Classification Code", it will be identified by the most relevant section of the quotation followed by DL Ex: 03DL
-
TAKEOFF Module Option
-
The markers generated for TAKEOFF will usually be configured in this line type.
-
You can duplicate the dimension lines to count elements of the same composition.
